About

Hi. I'm Blake, I'm 17, and I run this site. It started because I tried playing Saints Row 2 again and the radio audio was so badly compressed in the PC port that I went looking for the original 360 audio files. One thing led to another and I ended up with a folder full of named WAV files and figured I'd put them somewhere.

What's here

The full radio stations as they ship in each game, with as many of the songs identified as possible. I include the jingles, station IDs and DJ bits because those are the bits you can't get anywhere else, and they're what makes a station feel like a station.

How I do it

Audio gets pulled out of the game's data files with format-specific tools. For most of what I've covered so far, that's vgmstream decoding XACT wave banks straight to PCM WAV.

For the songs, I run each clip through Chromaprint to get a fingerprint, then look it up against AcoustID. That gets me back the artist and title for any commercially released track.

For everything else (jingles, ID stings, fake adverts, DJ talk segments) there's no automated way. I listen and label by hand, cross-checking against fan wikis where they've already worked out the order.

Takedowns

Some of what's here is licensed music that the game publisher only had the rights to use inside the game itself. I'm hosting it as preservation, but if a rightsholder wants something taken down, that's fine, just email me.

Send takedown requests to takedown@gameradioarchive.eu.org with the URL of the file and which rights you're claiming. I'll pull it within 48 hours.
